1992
Established

Established in 1992 as Trading Firm ‘Sharmi Industries’

1995
3 Layer Film Manufacturing

3 Layer film manufacturing unit ‘Sharmi Packaging Pvt Ltd’ with extrusion and printing machines was established at Kalol, Ahmedabad.

2008
Entered into Paper Foil Industry

Entered into Paper Foil Industries for sustainable packaging of food by the name of Radiant Films in Kalol, Ahmedabad.

2016
Started Radiant International

Started Radiant International as a subsidiary of Radiant Films – overseas marketing of manufactured products.

2018
Took Over Radiant Films

By 2018, Radiant International took over the parent company ‘Radiant Films’ and started the same unit at Kalol with the additional facility of paper bag manufacturing along with plastic bags.

New machineries involved to meet export demands of both plastic and paper bags.

2020
Became 100% EOU

Company became 100% EOU and got well established in the USA market.

2021
FSC Certificate for Paper Bags

To meet enhanced demands for overseas, company switched its location to the nearby industrial area at Kalol, Gandhinagar spread across a 50,000 Sq ft. area. Got FSC certification for paper bags i.e. required for sustainable packaging.

2023
Entered into Luxury Paper Bags

Entered into manufacturing of luxury paper bags ranging from 150-300 gsm thickness to meet the demands of our esteemed customers like Ted Baker and Laderach in USA.

2024
Further Expansion

Company further with a view of expansion has installed ABA plants for plastic bags and in lieu of sustainable packaging also installed paper bag machineries for SOS bags ranging from 40-140 GSM thickness.
